The SLPG was founded in 1980. Our members are qualified and experienced psychoanalytic psychotherapists, registered with either the British Confederation of Psychotherapists (BPC) or the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and subscribe respectively to their codes of practice and ethics.
The SLPG provides;
• introductory consultations for adults and young people
• individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy and counseling for adults and young people brief psychotherapy
• couple therapy
• supervision for psychotherapists, counselors and mental health professionals.
Referrals may also be made via mental health professionals, including doctors, counsellors, social workers, psychiatrists and psychologists.
